SLEEPS 4 | PRETTY GARDENS | FREE PARKING

When you read our testimonials below, there’s a ‘a home-from-home’ theme, which is what we like to think defines our 19th century miner’s cottage. It has everything you need for a comfortable break with loved ones, the perfect place to pause and spend carefree days. We’ve lovingly refurbished Casple Cottage with exposed beams and granite walls to preserve its original character, and layout works perfectly for a group of four.

It’s perfect for families and friends, looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and reconnect in a beautiful setting. When our boys were small, we retreated here whenever we could, and we know that our time here has shaped many cherished memories for all of us. The simple pleasures are what we recall the most; scaling rockpools, whole days spent bodyboarding in the ocean, and fish and chip dinners on the sea wall. Are you craving days with no agenda, along golden stretches of coastline? We now take pride in providing special escapes for countless other families, and we hope to welcome you someday soon, too.

Guests have exclusive use during their stay. Bookings between 25th July and 15th August must be for the full week, i.e 7 nights Saturday to Saturday.

Prices from £110 per night / £625 - £825 per week. We have a minimum stay of five nights, and offer a 20% discount for a week’s stay, on the nightly rate.

  • In an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and just seven miles from Land's End, St Just has plenty to offer as a self-catering family holiday destination.

Only five miles from Sennen beach, it is within easy access to the coastal footpath.

Driving northwards leads you through the Geevor/Levant mining landscape of Poldark fame, and further on to St Ives and the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum. There are several National Trust properties in the region, St Michael's Mount and Trengwainton Gardens for instance.

To the south, you may visit the clifftop Minack Theatre, Lamorna Cove and Newlyn before reaching Penzance.

There is coast, sea and moorland on the doorstep.

  • The cottage has an open-plan lounge/dining area with a cosy wood-burner, perfect for wintery evenings.

The kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

The back door leads out to the enclosed, paved courtyard where surfboards and bikes can be safely stored, and you can unwind with a book.

Upstairs the double bedroom offers a king size bed and the second bedroom offers two 3 foot pine beds.

There is a separate cloakroom, W.C and a good sized shower cubicle plus bath, in the main bathroom.

To the front of the cottage there is a pretty garden, looking up across the fields to St Just Church.

Please note and respect the strict no smoking policy inside our cottage.

  • Great cottage for our family over the half term week. An easy stroll up through the fields to get to all the great cafes, pubs and amenities in St Just, which is a really pretty and fairly unspoilt Cornish town. We'll be back!

  • ''We came back for a second visit, that says it all!''
